Today I was walking through campus and noticed some more flowers that I hadn’t seen before. They were purple, white, and yellow so I just had to stop to snap some pics. I was also testing exposure; the area was shady with some patches of sunshine coming through. It was difficult to find camera settings that allowed me to just leave them alone without having to touch them every time the lighting changed from shady to sunshine.

You guys will see my exposure change in all of the photos as I try to figure out which settings look best in each situation. I also noticed this squirrel moving along the trail and thought it was a perfect opportunity to practice some wildlife photography (or my idea of wildlife). It didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped it would. I also noticed this bird doing what birds do when they are on the ground and not flittering through the air. So, I tried to snap a couple of photos of that also, but those, too, did not turn out as well as I hoped. I’ll just have to keep trying. Well, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the photos!
