My husband loves turtles and happened to find one on his way home from picking our daughter up from school. At first, he wanted to keep it, but I told him that wasn’t going to happen. So, the alternative was to take it to the trail we normally walk and let it free near a river or pond or something. That’s what we did.

The kids were excited about this endeavor and couldn’t wait to set this medium-sized turtle free. The pictures I captured weren’t too bad. I couldn’t get too many good ones of the guy in the bucket we used to transport him, but I got one decent one. The other pictures were of this guy crossing the trail to the pond area we were leaving him at. He actually hustled fairly well for a turtle and it was fun to try and capture this guy from different angles. Hope you all enjoy the photos!
