About a month ago my husband and I had the opportunity to drive to Goldsboro for a little Sunday funday adventure without the kiddos. We decided to check out downtown Goldsboro because of the new look they’ve got. Downtown Goldsboro is beautiful; there are gorgeous statues, a large fountain and a cute strip mall as well. Since it was Sunday morning-ish heading into early afternoon, there weren’t many shops open and there weren’t many people out and about. It was a perfect setting for getting some photos of the new downtown look. You can see some of the beauty in the photos below, but I recommend going to see for yourself when the shops and restaurants are open.

We’re planning on going back when shops are open. Even though most shops were closed when we were there, there was one place that was open – Well Travelled Beer. This place is a GEM; I loved the atmosphere of the bar. The employees were nice, friendly and easy going. They sell local wines and craft beers there; my husband ordered a craft beer that they had on the menu and I got one of their amazing $3 mimosas. Yes, $3 mimosas (Sundays only)! Go get yourself one because they are good and so cheap! 🙂
